Antipasti recipes - Baked Artichoke Dip
 

Ingredients

  • One can artichoke hearts, drained
  • One small onion
  • Two cloves garlic
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese
  • Eight ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried basil or six leaves fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chopped parsley
  • One loaf Tuscan bread

Directions

    • Process artichokes, onion, and garlic in the
    food processor until blended

    • In medium sized bowl, combine remaining ingredients
    except parsley and bread, reserving one cup of mozzarella.

    • Sprinkle remaining cheese over artichoke dip, and
    sprinkle with chopped parsley.

    • Bake at four hundred degrees for twenty minutes,
    or until bubbly and beginning to brown.

    • Serve with Tuscan bread slices
